THE YEAR OF THE MONKEY AND YOU
In a Monkey year, there is no use planning one’s life, storing up goods, or waiting until things blow over before taking a plunge. In Monkey years, anything can happen.
The Monkey’s influence puts everybody in orbit at one time. Things do get accomplished, but they are often the result of individual or personal efforts. No major political upheaval or revolution ordinarily finds its way to the top of the heap during these years. If Monkey years are anything at all, they are most decidedly not boring.
Go ahead with your life. Make strides, move ahead, and jump hurdles. It is a time of opportunity for risky business and unplanned success. If you have a new idea, now is the time to act on it. Don’t look back. You’re likely to land on both feet.
Monkey children born in the summer season are favoured by nature, fair of face, and clever as the dickens.
RAT: This is the time you have been waiting for. Do things. Go out and find fun. All of your efforts pay off now. The Monkey is your friend.
OX: You are not at home with improvisation. The Monkey’s shenanigans trouble you. Take a deep breath. Muddle through, and smile.
TIGER: Tiger, take that dive. Go ahead and move those barriers out of the way. You must keep busy this year. And watch the Monkey’s activities. There may be some unhappy surprises in store.
CAT: Coy Cat, if you think you can escape the storms and danger by swatting at it with your right paw, watch out for what the left one is about. Nothing is sacred during a Monkey year.
DRAGON: You will probably commit some rash act. It may profit you; then again it may do you in. Monkeys are not always kind to Dragons.
SNAKE: All the Monkey’s business intrigues you But you find it a perhaps a bit offensive? Go ahead. Leave your thinking behind. It won’t do you any good, anyway.
HORSE: Keep your eyes peeled for ruse. But do things. Take steps. Make speeches. Gain ground. The Monkey wishes you no harm.
GOAT: It is not going to be easy for Goat people to escape bewilderment now. Everything is happening so fast. And Goats have no time to ponder.
MONKEY: Have fun. But don’t stick your neck out all the way. This is your time. But you could get carried away if you are not careful.
ROOSTER: It’s all right to cry Rooster. Sometimes things just get a little out of hand. Think up ways of reorganizing. You’ll need them. Courage!
DOG: Your dander may be up. That’s good for your shy spirit. This period will not seem easy. But you’ll exit from it victorious if you dare.
PIG: This is a fine place for you to evolve your new theories. Monkeys bring you the guile you so often lack. Luck is with you. And your heart is in harmony with your head.
